Centre for Security Assurance & Research
IMPACT functions as an independent, internationally-recognised, voluntary certification body for cybersecurity. In consultation with member governments and leading ICT companies, IMPACT will extract and formulate a checklist of global best practices for the purpose of creating an international benchmark. Upon request from member governments, IMPACT also has the expertise to conduct an audit on ministries, departments, agencies or critical infrastructure companies (for example: national utility and telecommunication companies) to ensure that those organisations subscribe to the highest international security standards.

In addition, member governments that may find themselves vulnerable to specific or unique threats peculiar to their situation can seek assistance from IMPACT. IMPACT will take on the catalytic role of expediting available facilities in an open and politically neutral environment to encourage participating international ICT companies to embark on joint R&D with member governments in the respective areas of concern.

Once again, participating companies will gain from insight into government thinking and the ability to cater to the direction, priority and focus of governments' spending and planning, while governments will be able to tap into the international span of knowledge and technologies the participating companies offer to safeguard their cyberspace.
