Mohamed Shihab oversees the technical aspects of the International Multilateral Partnership Against Cyber Threats’s (IMPACT) work, including intellectual property, consulting and knowledge building capacities. Mr. Shihab is part of the core team that conceptualised and incorporated IMPACT into existence.
Mr. Shihab also focuses on guiding the organisation’s charter and roadmap in achieving its goals and missions.
In collaboration with security experts, Mr. Shihab manages IMPACT’s technical teams in the design and development of various technology tools, programmes and platforms. He also oversees the development of IMPACT’s products such as the IMPACT Government Security Scorecard System and CIRT-Lite.

He is also very involved in development activities with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to roll out various programmes and activities to partner countries as part of the United Nations’/ITU’s Global Cybersecurity Agenda (GCA).
Mr. Shihab has twenty years of experience in the field of information technology, with particular focus on cybersecurity. He has previously worked as Sales Director of Fujitsu and as Country Manager for StorageTek (for Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei). Mr. Shihab is a graduate in Computer Science from Staffordshire University, U.K. |
