  Telekom Malaysia visits IMPACT HQ, 27th July 2010
IMPACT welcomed delegates of 28 officers from various Malaysian government ministries and agencies led by Telekom Malaysia to its global headquarters on 27th July 2010. The objective of the visit was to introduce IMPACT as the world’s first non-profit comprehensive global public-private partnership against cyber threats and to explain how partner countries could benefit from IMPACT’s services such as the Global Response Centre and capacity building programmes.

  Seminar on the Estonian Cyberwar: What Really Happened in 2007, IMPACT Global HQ, 19th July 2010
IMPACT, in collaboration with the CyberDefense League (CDL), Estonia, has organised a seminar on the Estonian Cyberwar: What Really Happened in 2007 at IMPACT’s Global HQ on 19th July 2010. Dr. Jaan Priisalu, co-founder of CyberDefense League and having 15 years hands-on experience in dealing with cybercriminals and state cyberattacks shared his experience having being involved directly in the 2007 Estonian Cyberwar. Dr. Jaan Priisalu presented on “The Baltics, Defending an Internet Bank against Cybercriminal Elite” and “The CyberDefense League, What Really Happened in 2007”. The seminar also featured Mike Gault, CEO of GuardTime who presented on "Digital evidence in a networked age". The seminar was attended by 43 participants from various sectors.

  Socialist Republic of Viet Nam visits IMPACT Global HQ, 15th July 2010
IMPACT welcomed 13 delegates from the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam led by H.E. Dr. Le Doan Hop, Minister of Information and Communications to its global headquarters on 15th July 2010. The objective of the visit was to introduce IMPACT as the world’s first non-profit comprehensive global public-private partnership against cyber threats and to discuss on how IMPACT can enhance Viet Nam’s capacity and capabilities by carrying out activities in the area of cybersecurity amongst its government and local institutes.

  Republic of Kazakhstan visits IMPACT Global HQ, 12th July 2010
IMPACT welcomed 15 delegates from the Republic of Kazakhstan led by H.E. Sarsenov Saken, Deputy Minister of Information and Communication to its global headquarters on 12th July 2010. The objective of the visit was to introduce IMPACT as the world’s first non-profit comprehensive global public-private partnership against cyber threats and to explain how Republic of Kazakhstan could benefit from IMPACT’s services by joining the coalition.

  SANS-IMPACT Community Night 2010, 1st July 2010
IMPACT together with SANS organised a knowledge sharing session that was held at IMPACT’s Global HQ. Two fascinating and informative topics were presented, Offensive Countermeasures by John Strand, who is a SANS Certified Instructor and The 20 Critical Security Controls Perspective by Eric Cole, Ph.D., who is a SANS Faculty Fellow.
